HOW WELL DID IT DO THEN?
- It secured an 84% score in the area of Vulnerable Road Users protection.
- The Mazda CX-80 achieved an impressive 88% for child occupancy and 92% for adult occupancy, earning full marks in lateral and rear impact tests.
- The CX-80’s comprehensive range of i-Activsense driver-supporting safety technologies helped it secure a solid 79% Safety Assist rating.
Also contributing to the five-star rating is Mazda’s Skyactiv Multi-Solution Scalable Architecture, which is the basis for the CX-80’s longitudinal front-engine rear-wheel drive mechanical layout and its excellent driving dynamics.
