Magna Visual Safety Check - Free of Charge!

You're in safe hands. There's nothing more important than your safety. That's why we carry out a Magna Visual Safety Check on every Mazda vehicle that passes through our service department, regardless of why your vehicle came to us in the first place.

We check all the main components that may affect the safety of your vehicle, that's 33 checks in total. And best of all, there's no charge to you because at Magna your safety comes first.

Our Mazda trained technicians will complete a visual examination of the 33 items that form the Visual Safety Check. This includes key safety items inside and outside your vehicle, such as brakes, tyres, lights, bodywork, steering and suspension.

A Visual Safety Check Report is completed and every item checked is classified into one of three categories; green, amber or red.

Green: everything appears to be okay

Great news, your vehicle is in good health.

Amber: work needed soon - before next scheduled visit

A concern has been identified that needs attention - not immediately but in the near future. This will enable you to plan and budget to have the work done.

Red: urgent work - dangerous, illegal or defective

A problem has been identified that could have safety implications, or could lead to bigger repair bills in the near future. It is recommended that you have this work carried out as a matter of urgency.

Should we identify any areas requiring urgent attention, you will be contacted and provided with a fully inclusive price to carry out the repair using Genuine Mazda Parts. However, you are under no obligation and can obtain alternative estimates from elsewhere. With your approval, we will carry out the work immediately, or book your car into our service department at another time convenient to you.

When you collect your vehicle, you will be given a copy of the Magna Visual Safety Check report*, giving you total peace of mind about the condition of your vehicle. This way you can be assured that whenever you visit us, you know your vehicle is in safe hands.
